Supportive food education for patients, families, and care communities
GOTZO offers practical, evidence-informed food education workshops designed for hospitals, cancer centers, support programs, and community organizations.
Each workshop focuses on helping participants navigate changes in eating with comfort, dignity, and realistic everyday strategies.
Workshops are led by Lina, a private chef with experience conducting hands-on cooking demonstrations focused on supportive eating during cancer care at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge and Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center in New York.

Cooking for Comfort & Ease
A practical, hands-on workshop focused on making meals easier to eat while maintaining enjoyment and dignity.

What a Session Looks Like
Each session includes a short educational introduction, followed by a live cooking demonstration and an interactive Q&A.
What Participants Gain
Participants will leave with practical ideas and greater confidence in preparing meals that are easier to eat, more comfortable, and still enjoyable during cancer care. Workshops emphasize not only nourishment and ease, but also enjoyment, comfort, and the social experience of eating.

Professional Background
Lina is currently pursuing academic training in nutrition and end-of-life studies, with a focus on supportive oncology food education.
Her work centers on food-related decision-making during serious illness, including symptom-related eating challenges, caregiver support, and cultural considerations.
She has also led cooking demonstrations and workshops at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge and the Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center in New York.
