GOTZO Family Course
A self-paced online course for families and caregivers supporting eating at home during cancer care.
When someone you love is going through illness or treatment, meals can become one of the hardest parts of care. Appetite may change. Taste may feel different. Textures may become harder to manage. Caregivers may feel unsure, tired, or afraid of doing the wrong thing.
The GOTZO Family Course is being created to help families learn gentle, practical, food-centered ways to make meals feel more comforting and manageable at home.

Why This Course
Food during cancer care is not only about nutrition.
It can also be about comfort, memory, dignity, and connection.
This course is designed for families and caregivers who want simple, approachable guidance for supporting meals at home—especially when eating becomes difficult.
Created by Lina, a private chef who has led supportive eating demonstrations at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge and Mount Sinai Tisch Cancer Center, this course brings together Japanese culinary wisdom, practical cooking techniques, and compassionate care.
